Culture is the core of how we interact with others and perceive the world.
People do not just live within their culture, they are their culture.
Culture is not just American culture, Chinese culture, Brazilian culture, etc. It is also our individual background including how we are raised by our families, our schooling, our socio-economic backgrounds, and our unique set of life experiences.
Each person’s cultural background creates their assumptions, attitudes, and values.
A person’s behaviors are derived from their assumptions, attitudes, and values.
One of these behaviors is purely mental. PERCEPTION. Each person perceives the world is based on their assumptions, attitudes, and values.
When we Filterpret the world, it is firmly based in our individual cultural background.

Very insightful to include family environment, schooling, and other personal experiences in the definition of “culture.”
